The Crystalline Green is a sustainable luxury pod in a form of “glamping”. The pod’s core is made up of renewable wood composite panels with a double layer smart skin. Consisting of the bed area with the toilet and kitchen, this core can be entirely closed up as the inner skin and also opened up to form a semi outdoor area. Inspired by the pangolin’s scales, it allowed us to explore the creation of a organic facade in the form of fractal patterns similar to floras and minerals.

More than just a glamping experience it self-sustains and reuses waste for energy. Users will understand the principals of sustainability and experience an eco-lifestlye, communicating to the inhabitants that it is important to take time away from our bustling urban life and learn from nature, contemplate and recharge for a healthy mind and body.
